Letter to James Study: Rev. Meghan will begin a new Zoom Bible study of the Letter to James on Tuesday June 16th at 11am. All are welcome! The Letter of James is a challenge to believers, calling them to live a life wholly devoted to God. Its topics include words, favoritism, love, wealth, and hardship. James combines both the teachings of Jesus (particularly the Sermon on the Mount) and the Book of Proverbs to teach a wisdom for living founded on prayer. Church tradition says James was nicknamed “Old Camel Knees” because of thick calluses built up on his knees from many years of determined prayer. Prayer is ALWAYS foundational to wisdom. Zoom link will be sent out in the Eblast and on the church website. Questions about the study or on how to use Zoom? Contact Rev. Meghan (321)723-5272. Find the James Zoom meeting HERE. The Meeting ID is 519 564 4599 and the password is 1830.

Prayer from St. Ambrose of Milan, 337-397 AD

O Lord, who has mercy upon all,
Take away from me my sins,
And mercifully kindle in me the fire of Your Holy Spirit.
Take away from me the heart of stone,
And give me a heart of flesh,
a heart to love and adore You,
a heart to delight in You,
to follow and to enjoy You,
    for Christ’s sake.  Amen.
