ALPHA SERIES RETURNS!
Beginning 6:15 PM Tuesday evening, September 10th our eleven-week Alpha Course resumes in Lewis Hall. It continues each successive Tuesday evening - including a weekend day on the Holy Spirit - concluding Tuesday, November 19th.
What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of conversations that explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly environment. It is a place to connect with people where you can say anything you like or nothing at all. Everyone is invited, no matter your background or beliefs.
Beginning with supper, the course continues with a series of video presentations by Nicky Gumbel followed by small group discussion and sharing. Each session looks at a different question around our faith. Topics discussed include ‘Is There More to Life Than This?’, ‘Who is Jesus?’, ‘Who is the Holy Spirit?’
Who should come? Anyone who would like to better understand the fundamentals of our faith in Jesus Christ. Alpha is designed to both introduce the Christian faith to seekers and strengthen one’s new walk with Christ.
