Join us Feb 14-16, 2025 at the quiet and beautiful Lake Shore Group Camp for a peaceful weekend immersed in nature and exploration in the Ocala National Forest.   This campground, situated on the shoreline of Lake Fore, is privately rented to only our group.  

Tailor the time as you wish:

• Rest in your hammock or camp chair as you notice the quiet surroundings or take in a good read.
• Bring your gear to hike, cycle, kayak, or swim on site.
• Enjoy outdoor games like corn hole, giant jenga, can jam, ladder ball, etc.
• Explore nearby Silver Springs where you can:
  • kayak the 5 mile run to see monkeys, gators, manatees, etc. (rentals available on site)
  • take the glass bottom boat tour
  • experience the pioneer "cracker" village
  • tour the museum & environmental center
  • or visit the Flintknapping Festival held the same weekend as our campout (a favorite amongst campout regulars)
  • Please note, fees for any of these options are self-pay/not included in the weekend registration fee.
• Come back together for happy hour and fellowship and then enjoy dinner.
• In the evenings, gather around the fire with friends for fireside games and great conversation (smokey desserts like campfire cones and s'mores too).
• Plan for church in the woods Sunday morning - it's such a special way to worship together!   After church, we breakdown camp, and head home.

It's important to know that we are tent camping only this year, no RV sites available.  Hot water showers on site, no individual power hookups.

Cost to camp is $8 per person. Families bring their own gear and most food.  Loads of detailed information will be provided once registration is complete. Space is limited to 50 people total, including children.
